Vitaly Vanshelboim currently serves as the Assistant UN Secretary General and Chief Executive of S3I (Sustainable Infra Impact Investments) at UNOPS since July 2006, after holding the position of Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. Prior experience includes leadership roles at UNDP where Vanshelboim was the Director of the Office of Administration and Security and the Director of Staff Administrative Services from September 2001 to June 2006. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Director of Resources for Budget and Administration at OSCE from July 1997 to September 2001 and Deputy Resident Representative for Programme and Operations at the United Nations Office in Ukraine from November 1992 to July 1997. Early career experiences involve financial and administrative roles at Energoservice enterprise and Relay and Automatics state enterprise. Vitaly Vanshelboim holds an MBA equivalent in accounting, internal control, and business analysis from IESE Business School and Kyiv National Economics University.
