Margarita Pirovska

Margarita Pirovska is a seasoned professional in sustainable finance and policy, currently serving as the Director of Policy and Head of the Fiduciary Duty in the 21st Century Programme at the Principles for Responsible Investment since June 2019, focusing on initiatives in China and multilateral organizations. Previously, Margarita held the position of Senior Consultant at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, where efforts were directed towards integrating ESG issues in investment processes. Early career experiences include roles as a Policy and Sustainability Analyst at Cornerstone Capital Inc., Project Manager for Sustainable Development at GDF SUEZ, and Policy Analyst at the International Energy Agency. Margarita's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Industrial Organisation and Energy Economics from Université Paris Dauphine, completed in 2004.
