Giriraj Bagdi

Giriraj Bagdi is the VP of Operations Engineering at Unravel. Prior to joining Unravel, they were the Group Engineering Manager, Data Platform at Intuit from March 2017 to May 2020. In this role, they led a team of engineers in building the next generation Data Platform for Analytics Intuit Small Business and Enterprise products. Giriraj also managed large complex initiatives for On-Prem & Cloud Data-Infrastructure in the areas of Automation Engineering, SRE, Big Data & Database Transactional Platform’s. Giriraj has also represented Intuit in AWS re:invent 2019 depicting the AWS EMR Migration Big Data journey and led major open source contributions for EMR Management and AWS Cost Management.

Prior to Intuit, Giriraj was the Sr. Engineering Manager, Cloud Engineering at Box from August 2015 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading the engineering team that built and operated Box's core services on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Giriraj also oversaw the technical direction and architecture of Box's AWS-based infrastructure and led the team through multiple migrations of Box's services to AWS.

Giriraj began their career as a Software Development Manager at eBay Inc from April 2004 to May 2010. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing a team of software engineers that designed, developed, tested, and deployed scalable software solutions. Giriraj also oversaw the technical direction and architecture of eBay's infrastructure and led the team through multiple migrations to new technologies.

Giriraj Bagdi has completed a B.Tech in Computer Engineering from MD University, Bhiwani. Giriraj also holds a certification from LinkedIn in Data Science on Google Cloud Platform: Designing Data Warehouses.
