Chiara Ceriotti

Chiara Ceriotti is a seasoned Child Protection Officer currently employed by UNRWA, with a career spanning over two decades in child protection and humanitarian action. Prior to UNRWA, Chiara served as the Prevention Focal Point at The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action and held various significant roles at Save the Children International, including Senior Humanitarian Advisor for Inter-Agency Child Protection. Experience also includes positions as Regional Child Protection Advisor for Rädda Barnen/Save the Children Sweden and Humanitarian Child Protection Advisor at Save the Children UK. Chiara's comprehensive background features roles with Terre des hommes foundation as Protection Coordinator and Psychosocial Officer, as well as project management at UNESCO's Education in Emergency and Reconstruction. Chiara began the career as a teacher in nurseries and primary schools, culminating in a Master's Degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from Università Cattolica S.Cuore in Milan.
