Omar Mousa is a medical professional with extensive experience in various healthcare roles. Currently serving as a Medical Officer at UNRWA since October 2021, Omar provides general outpatient services and special services, including maternal and child health and non-communicable disease management, while also engaging in staff training. Prior to this, Omar worked as a Teaching Assistant at Al Azhar University - Gaza and as a Junior Intensivist in the Critical Care Department at EGH, where critical patient management was a key responsibility. An internship at the European Gaza Hospital involved comprehensive patient care and surgical assistance, while a role as a First Aid Trainer for the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund included coordinating life-saving courses for medical students. Omar holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the University of Galway and a Doctor of Medicine from Al-Quds University.
