Thomas Blanchet is a Data Scientist at Untapped Global since March 2023, bringing extensive experience from prior roles, including Coordinator, Senior Data Scientist, and Economist at the World Inequality Lab from 2015 to March 2023. There, Thomas managed the World Inequality Database, coordinating backend and frontend teams and collaborating with researchers globally. Additionally, Thomas served as an Economist (Postdoctoral Scholar) at the University of California, Berkeley, from August 2021 to July 2022, where a pioneering tool, "Real-Time Inequality," was developed to track income and wealth distribution in the United States. Thomas holds a PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics and a Master's degree in Data Science from ENSAE Paris, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics from Collège Stanislas Paris.
