Mohamed Abdelgawad began their career in 2017 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The American University in Cairo. In 2018, they took on a Teaching Assistant role at The British University in Egypt. In 2019, they became an RTL Design Intern at Si-Vision, where they worked on Static and Dynamic Logic, FSMs, Advanced Verilog, Synopsys VCS and DC, TCL scripting, Basic Linux shell commands, Regular Expressions, Low power techniques, Timing constraints, Synchronous vs Asynchronous Resets, CTS and synchronizers in CDC. Currently, they are employed as a Digital IC Design Engineer at Untether AI.
Mohamed Abdelgawad obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The British University in Egypt in 2018, after completing a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Loughborough University in 2014. In 2020, they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University. Additionally, they have a number of certifications, including a First Place at AI and Federated Machine Learning Track from TIEC in 2019, a Best Graduation Project Poster Award from IEEE in 2018, an Internship Completion from iHub: Innovation Hub in 2017, a 1st Rank Certificate of Excellence from The British University in Egypt in 2016, and a Certificate of Author Participation in IEEE GCCE 2016 from IEEE in 2016.
