Bill Hodak

Bill Hodak is Marketing Partner at Unusual Ventures where he consults with portfolio companies through the Get Ahead Program. Bill started his career over 20 years ago as a software developer and Oracle DBA. He transitioned into marketing after receiving his MBA at UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Prior to Unusual, Bill was VP of Marketing at LaunchDarkly and has led marketing teams at the very early stages at both New Relic and Sift after gaining big company experience at Oracle and VMware. What gets Bill up in the morning? Technically, Bill and his wife Jessica’s two children and always early-to-rise dog Shiloh are the early morning wake up call. After that, Bill is excited to come to work because he loves effectively articulating the value a product brings to a customer, building pipeline, and seeing a customer have that ‘aha moment’.
