Amirah Hossein

Amirah Hossein is currently pursuing a degree at the University of Virginia, with an expected graduation date in May 2025. Since February 2023, Amirah has been working as a waitress at Boylan Heights and also serves as an undergraduate researcher at The Kester Lab. In addition, Amirah has held the role of ambassador for Up & Up Festival since January 2022 and completed an internship in medical strategy and knowledge advancement at Kerecis during July and August 2024. Between August 2021 and May 2023, Amirah contributed to the UVA Engineering Student Council as Special Programs Chair and First Year Chair, focusing on fostering community among engineering students. Previous experience includes a waitress position at The Country Club of Fairfax from June 2022 to January 2023.
