Andrea Cattani

Andrea Cattani has extensive work experience in the field of user experience design and product design. They have worked at various companies, starting with an internship as an Interaction Designer at Comunità della Vallagarina in 2012. They then worked as an IxD and UI Designer at Interplay Software, where they were responsible for a project focused on promoting an active lifestyle through new technologies and gamification.

From 2013 to 2019, Andrea worked at NiEW Design, initially as a User Experience Designer before being promoted to Senior User Experience Designer and later becoming the Lead User Experience Designer. They were responsible for project planning, team supervision, mentoring junior designers, and continuous improvement of design workflows and processes.

In 2019, Andrea joined Altran as the Lead User Experience Designer, where their main client was Volkswagen AG. They were responsible for planning, supervising, and supporting design activities, as well as mentoring junior designers and promoting design thinking within and outside the organization.

In 2020, Andrea moved to Micropsi Industries as a Senior UX Designer, and later became a Product Design Lead at UP42 in 2022.

Andrea Cattani attended Università di Trento from 2008 to 2012. They pursued a degree in Interfaces and Technologies of Communication, specializing in User Experience, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, and Cognitive Science. In addition to their formal education, Andrea obtained certifications in Designing Strategy and Leading for Creativity from IDEO U. They also became a certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager by Scaled Agile, Inc.
