Thomas Hirsch

Thomas Hirsch has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Thomas is currently the CEO of upday, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the COO and Deputy CEO of upday from May 2019 to August 2021.

Before joining upday, Thomas worked at upday for Samsung, where they held the positions of CFO and COO from September 2015 to April 2019. In this role, they managed finances, HR, and marketing.

Prior to their time at upday for Samsung, Thomas worked at Axel Springer SE. Thomas served as the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Chairman and CEO from February 2013 to September 2015. Before that, they held the position of Junior Executive from June 2011 to February 2013.

Thomas started their career at SunGard Financial Systems as an Executive Analyst from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Consultant at Marakon Associates from 2006 to 2008.

Thomas Hirsch completed their International Baccalaureate at Red Cross Nordic United World College from 1998 to 2000. Thomas then pursued their Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management at the University of Oxford, graduating in 2003. In 2004, Thomas began studying at the University of St.Gallen - HSG, where they completed their Master of Arts in Strategy and International Management in 2006. Additionally, in 2005 and 2006, they attended HEC Paris for their Master's in CEMS - Master of International Management.
