Group Product Manager at Updox

Samantha Mernick has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Samantha started their career at Hy-Vee Grocery in 2004 as a Floral Shop Clerk, where they assisted customers with choosing floral arrangements and managed the department alone during evening shifts. In 2007, they joined Missouri State University as an Information Desk Attendant and eventually became the Plaster Student Union Information Desk Manager and later the Plaster Student Union Building Manager.

In 2012, Samantha moved on to Cerner Corporation, where they initially served as a Solution Architect/Consultant. Samantha then transitioned to the role of Solution Strategist/Product Manager and eventually became a Senior Product Manager. Samantha'stenure at Cerner Corporation lasted until 2022.

Following their time at Cerner Corporation, Samantha joined Updox in 2022 as a Senior Product Manager. Samantha has since been promoted to the role of Group Product Manager, starting in April 2023. Currently, Samantha is still working at Updox, contributing their expertise in product management.

Samantha Mernick has a diverse education background. Samantha completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Healthcare Administration at Missouri State University from 2010 to 2012. Before that, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Cell and Molecular Biology, also at Missouri State University.

In addition to their degrees, Samantha has obtained various certifications. In September 2018, they became a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) through the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). More recently, in October 2021, they obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Furthermore, Samantha has acquired several certifications from Pragmatic Institute. In August 2020, they completed certifications in Build, Foundations, Launch, and PMC (Product Management Certificate) Levels I, II, and III.

Overall, Samantha Mernick's educational journey showcases a strong foundation in both healthcare administration and biology, complemented by certifications in project management and product management.
