Azhar Shahid

Azhar Shahid has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Azhar started their career at Unilever Pakistan in 2000 as a Management Accountant, later moving on to various roles within the company including Finance Manager for Foods and Beverages. In 2011, they became the Chief Auditor, contributing to policy development and cost-saving initiatives. Azhar then joined Unilever Bangladesh Limited as the Finance Controller, where they achieved milestones in financial controls and treasury operations. In 2018, Azhar joined Upfield as the Finance Director & CFO, responsible for overseeing finance operations and serving as a board member. Most recently, they have taken up the role of Head of Finance South Asia (Pakistan & Sri Lanka). Throughout their career, Azhar has consistently demonstrated their ability to drive business profitability and effectively manage risk and governance.

Azhar Shahid obtained an Associate of Cost & Management Accountancy (ACMA) degree from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) between 1994 and 1999.
