Mauricio Ortiz Davalos has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Mauricio currently serves as the CMO for North LATAM at Upfield starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Marketing Director at Upfield from January 2020 to September 2020.

Before joining Upfield, Mauricio held various roles in multinational companies. Mauricio served as the Global Innovation & Marketing Manager for Developing and Emerging Markets at Essity from November 2017 to January 2020. From May 2015 to June 2017, they worked as the Regional Marketing Director at Whole Earth Brands.

Mauricio spent a significant portion of their career at Mondelēz International, where they held the position of Global Marketing Innovation Director for a $1.2 billion category with $1.0 billion brands. Mauricio was also assigned to work in Brazil for two years during their tenure at Mondelēz International.

Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Kraft Foods Group, including Marketing Director for Trident & Gums Projects, Marketing Director for Beverages, Group Marketing Manager for Cheese, Senior Brand Manager for Philadelphia, Junior Brand Manager for Singles Cheese brand, New Business and Imported Categories Head, and Marketing Intelligence Head.

Mauricio's early career includes working as a Trainee & Logistic Coordinator in the Supply Chain at Kraft Foods Group and as a Project Leader at IBM.

Mauricio Ortiz Davalos obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México from 1993 to 1998.
