Alberto Macias, MBA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and leadership roles. Alberto started their career at Tenneco Automotive as a Senior Finance Analyst, where they assisted in the wind-down of a plant and supported the implementation of SAP. Alberto then moved on to GE Corporate Treasury, where they served as the Global Currency Exposure Manager and later as the FP&A and US Reporting leader. At GE Capital, Alberto held multiple positions. Alberto was the FP&A Leader at GE Capital Canada, where they led the integration of a $600 million portfolio. Alberto also served as the Senior BD Finance Manager, Commercial & Risk Controller, and Director of BD Finance, managing various teams and executing strategic initiatives. Alberto then joined Wells Fargo as the North America Finance Leader, overseeing planning, reporting, and productivity initiatives. Currently, they are the VP of Finance at Upgrade, Inc., leading the accounting, reporting, and FP&A processes for the consumer credit platform.
Alberto Macias, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance & Management at NYU Stern School of Business in 2012. Prior to their MBA, they received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Alberto also earned a diploma in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
