John Erik Metcalf

John Erik Metcalf has worked in various roles since 2007. In 2007, they co-founded Conjunctured, Austin's first coworking space. In 2010, they co-founded and served as CEO of Demand Analytics, a competitive intelligence tools company for ecommerce retailers. In 2013, they served as Entrepreneur in Residence at Arbor Ventures, where they invested in early-growth companies in Asia. From 2014 to 2017, they served as Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum's San Francisco Hub. In 2017, they co-founded and served as CEO of Upgraded Technologies, a software company that helps electronics retailers and OEMs create circular purchase, trade-in, and recycling programs.

John Erik Metcalf received a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Texas at Austin in Advertising, Business, and Computer Science. John Erik also studied Chinese at Beijing Foreign Studies University.
