Amir Badr

Amir Badr is the CEO and Founder of Upkey, a company that aims to level the playing field for individuals seeking mentorship and guidance. Amir started this role in March 2017 and is still currently involved in the company. Prior to Upkey, Amir served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at EPIC Academy from June 2016 to April 2017. Amir also worked at Exelon, starting as a Senior Analyst in Strategy and Finance in August 2010, then transitioning to the role of Lead in External Diversity and Inclusion from May 2011 to July 2013. Amir later became a Consultant in HR Strategy at Exelon from July 2013 to September 2014. Before Exelon, Amir worked at Merrill Lynch as an Associate in the Wealth Management Group from 2007 to 2008.

Amir Badr completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago between the years 2005 and 2008. Later on, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Management with a specialization in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2013 to 2016.
