Zach Kotz

Zach Kotz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations analysis and strategic initiatives, currently serving as the Director of Operations Analysis at Uplift Education since November 2019. In this role, Zach has been instrumental in developing key performance indicators to track network performance and equity metrics. Prior to Uplift, Zach held various positions, including Operations Specialist and Project Management roles at Cetera Financial Group, where process efficiency was a primary focus. Zach's community engagement includes volunteer work with Green Iowa AmeriCorps to promote energy conservation. Additional experiences include serving as Executive Editor for Global Current Radio and internships with the U.S. Department of State and the Clinton Foundation, emphasizing communications and public policy. Zach holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, Political Science, and Classical Studies from Luther College and a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University.
