Will Whiteside

Will Whiteside has held various positions in the fields of applied mathematics and artificial intelligence since 2008. Will began their career as a Graduate Tutoring Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia. In 2016, they were hired as a Summer Intern at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Will then joined Verde International as Managing Director of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Systems. Most recently, they were appointed as Head of Applied Mathematics and Modeling at Uplinq in 2021.

Will Whiteside obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences between 2005 and 2008. Will then continued their education at the same school, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science in 2016.
