Tatu Westling

Tatu Westling has a solid background in people analytics and strategy engagements. Tatu is currently serving as the Director of People Analytics at UPM - The Biofore Company since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at OnWork as a Partner and Entrepreneur, where they focused on analytics business leadership and people analytics/strategy engagements with major Finnish organizations from July 2016 to October 2021. Tatu also gained experience in similar roles at Mercer, where they worked as a Senior Associate, Associate, and Consultant Analyst from 2008 to 2016, specializing in people analytics/strategy engagements with major US organizations. Before joining Mercer, they worked as a Research Analyst at Hay Group from December 2006 to June 2008. Tatu began their career as an Economist Trainee at the Ministry of Transport and Communications for a brief period in 2005.

Tatu Westling completed PhD-courses in the Finnish Doctoral Programme in Economics at the University of Helsinki from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the same university between 2002 and 2006.
