Ryan A. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Ryan is the founder of Skilled Trades Job Hub, a company they established in 2021. Prior to this, Ryan co-founded UpMeals in 2018, where they played a pivotal role in developing the concept of using vending machines as a platform to expand the ready-to-eat meals line. At UpMeals, Ryan was responsible for menu planning, designing a kitchen software web-based application, and developing automated food prep generation and food cost systems.

Before their venture into the food industry, Ryan worked at Autochargers.ca Corporation as a regional sales manager from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they were responsible for prospecting and attracting clients within their assigned geographic area. Ryan also provided feedback and information on market trends, presented to senior management, and explored opportunities for new services, products, and distribution channels.

In 2013, Ryan co-founded Briar Canadian Management, specializing in recruiting mechanics and related positions for medium to large equipment and car companies. The company quickly grew to become one of the largest recruiters in Canada before it was acquired by Auto Careers Group in 2017.

Ryan started their career in the culinary industry, working as an apprentice chef at The Fish House in Stanley Park from 2002 to 2006. Ryan then joined The University of British Columbia as a tournant chef from 2009 to 2013.

In September 2009, they obtained a Red Seal certification from Ita bc. Ryan furthered their education by attending the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Holistic Nutritional Diploma. In November 2010, they obtained a Holistic Nutritionist Certification from the same institution.
