Daniel Bell - Finance Innovator

Daniel Bell has over 30 years of experience in finance, with a focus on leadership roles. Daniel began their career in 1987 as a Cost Accounting Manager at 3M, where they worked until 1992. Daniel then joined V Tel Corp as an Accounting Manager, responsible for coordinating monthly close processes, financial statement preparation, and SEC reporting. After three years with V Tel Corp, Daniel moved to Tyco as an Accounting Manager, where they stayed until 1999.

In 1999, they joined Dell as a Finance Controller, a role they held for 15 years, until 2014. During their time at Dell, they gained extensive experience in financial control and reporting.

From 2014 to 2016, Daniel served as the Corporate Controller at KLD Energy Technologies, responsible for overseeing corporate financial activities. Daniel then briefly worked as a Controller on a contract basis at ACK (Austin Canoe & Kayak) before joining OneTouchPoint as Vice President of Finance in 2016.

In 2017, Daniel joined Dell Technologies as a Global Business Controls Sr. Manager, a position they held until 2023. During this time, they played a key role in managing global business controls.

Currently, Daniel serves as the Vice President of Finance at Upper Echelon Products, where they have been since 2023. In this role, they are responsible for leading the finance department and driving financial innovation within the company.

Daniel Bell obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northern Iowa. Daniel then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from St. Edward's University. Daniel Bell also holds additional certifications as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), although the specific institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
