Tue Sander Barfred is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Head of Product and Engineering at Upright Music since November 2022, guiding the strategic direction and execution of product and technology initiatives. With a strong background in software development, Tue led various projects at Upright Music and previously held a role as a Senior Musicologist and Data Engineer at Moodagent, where contributions were made towards building a premier music streaming app. Additionally, Tue co-founded BlackBox IVS, focusing on hardware and software for musical expression, and has extensive experience in audio production and direction through roles at PanterMedia and BTI Studios. Education includes degrees in Sound and Music Computing, Composition and Sound Design, and Musicology from prominent institutions.
