Gordon Fairley

Gordon Fairley has worked in the semiconductor industry for over 35 years. Gordon began their career in 1986 as a Design Centre Engineer at Qudos Limited. In 1988, they moved to Fujitsu Microelectronics as a Senior Field Application Engineer, spending three months in Tokyo on assignment. From 1996 to 2001, they worked at Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH as a European Marketing Manager. From 2001 to 2008, they were with IBM Global Engineering Solutions, where they held the role of European Marketing Manager and Account Manager. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as Director, Sales EMEA - Semiconductors, Silicon Photonics & Services, and Deputy Director, Sales EMEA - Semiconductors, Silicon Photonics & Services. From 2019 to 2022, they were with depsys SA as Director Business Development & Sales Leader. Currently, they are Business Development KrakenFlex for Distribution Power Grids at KrakenFlex (Octopus Energy Group).

Gordon Fairley attended The University of Edinburgh from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
