Rhys Shea

Rhys Shea has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles.

Starting in 2008, Shea worked as a Cashier at Gastronomy Foods UK Ltd, where they gained experience in customer service, problem-solving, and workplace hygiene. They worked there for three years until 2011.

In 2012, Shea was a Zebra Fish Maintainer at University College London, responsible for maintaining the health and wellbeing of the fish. This role helped develop their attention to detail and caretaking skills.

Shea then worked as a Brand Ambassador at Kreate from November 2012 to October 2013. This role required them to interact with customers, adapt to different promotions, and effectively convey information about various brands.

Next, Shea joined WM360 as a Summer Intern in July 2013, and later became a Business Development Executive from September 2013 to September 2014. This position involved overseeing internal projects, assisting with external projects, and balancing job requirements with their studies.

During the same year, from October 2015 to October 2017, Shea worked at EDF Energy. This role provided valuable experience in hedging, risk management, commodity markets, and trading fundamentals.

From 2018 to 2021, Shea worked as a Software Engineer at Sustainable Society Investment Management (SSIM) Inc. They contributed to software development projects and utilized their technical skills.

Currently, Shea holds the position of a Full-stack Developer at KrakenFlex, a subsidiary of Octopus Energy Group, starting from October 2021.
