Eric Boudreaux

Co-Founder, CFO & COO at Upside Financing

Eric Boudreaux is the co-founder, CFO, and COO of Upside Financing. Eric was previously employed at Nike from June 2014 to June 2021, where they served as CFO for the Air Manufacturing & Innovation division. In this role, they were responsible for the division's full P&L, which included a $500M domestic manufacturing division that supported over $10B of Nike's finished goods revenue.

Boudreaux kicked off and led a divisional end-to-end transformation effort that redefined top level goals and metrics and drove fundamental changes across the business, from floor operations to the technology roadmap. Eric also served as the interim leader of Manufacturing Network strategy, developing a Make v Buy framework and network growth plan. In addition, they led audit remediation efforts that moved the division from "Unsatisfactory" to "Satisfactory" over the course of 18 months.

Under Boudreaux's leadership, significant changes were made to inventory strategy to maximize service level while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence. Eric also drove changes to pricing/costing methodology to more accurately reflect overhead and labor costs of manufacturing. As a result of these changes, annual savings of >$10M were realized.

Eric Boudreaux has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA in Strategy, Finance, and Real Estate from Columbia Business School.

They are on a team with Justin Tormey - Co-Founder & Head of Platform, Patrick Izzo - Head of Risk, and Steve Slotnick - Head of Engineering. and Lindsay Van Kirk - Head of Strategy & Operations reports to Eric Boudreaux. Eric Boudreaux reports to Nicholas Mares, Co-Founder & CEO.
