Shrini Viswanath

Just like Ravi, Shrini too shares similar aspirations and ambitions with regard to trading. When Shrini moved back to India, he recognized the tremendous growth potential in the trading industry. And motivated by this, he led technological innovations and built Upstox for both first-time investors and experienced traders. Shrini heads the strategy, product and operations, and technology divisions. He has been leading the overall technology roadmap for Upstox, helping the brand grow phenomenally by integrating intuitive design with sophisticated technology to build an accessible trading application.

Shrini started his career as a Software Engineer at Cerner Corporation and moved on to Morgan Stanley as a Technology Analyst. He worked with Citibank in Chicago before moving to India to co-found Upstox. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois in Urbana – Champaign, USA.
