Adam West, MA, is the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Director based in Oakland, CA. He is a member of the team working on the development and implementation of key MEL and impact-focused strategies and processes.

Adam has a passion for all things data and impact and is driven by collaborative projects that result in evidence-based programs and policies. He is a data, insights and analytics specialist with over 11 years of experience working on impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis and research in the social sector. Adam began his career in education following his passion for delivering impactful experiences to young people from underserved communities in New Jersey. After serving in the Peace Corps in Paraguay as an Environmental Education Volunteer, Adam received a Masters Degree in International Political Economy & Development from Fordham University with a focus on research and quantitative study design. After graduating, Adam worked for three years at the Population Council in their Poverty, Gender & Youth Program conducting research and providing training and technical assistance to UN agencies and their implementing partners in Africa and Central America. This work focused on building a foundation of data and strengthening local capacity to design and deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions for vulnerable adolescent girls.
