Sarah Wood is the head of operations at Upstream, a full-stack DAO in a box that helps collectives manage their voting, governance, communications, events, and chat all in one platform. Sarah has been with Upstream for 1 year 9 months and has held various titles including COO, Head Of Operations, and Head of Growth & Community. Prior to Upstream, Sarah worked at Goldman Sachs for 3 years 8 months where they were a part of the Global Markets Division. During their time at Goldman Sachs, Sarah secured $125,000 of funding for ed-tech non-profit Moneythink and was a finalist for the GS Analyst Impact Fund. Sarah is also the founder of Joy Soldier, a community and toolkit that helps people lead a more joyful life, and Oats & Woes, a breakfast cereal company. In addition to their work in the corporate world, Sarah is also a TED Conferences speaker and a participant in Vipassana's 10-Day Silent Meditation Retreat. Sarah holds a degree from the University of Michigan where they were an India Global Corporate Strategy Immersion Participant.

Sarah Wood has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Sarah also has a Series 7 and Series 63 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
