Katie Grimes

Katie Grimes, M. Ed., currently serves as the Support Operations Manager at Upwards since November 2023. Previously, Katie held the position of Account Executive at SchoolMint from April 2022 to September 2023 and spent nearly nine years at New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science II as a 9th Grade Lead Teacher and 9th Grade Algebra 1 Teacher. Katie's earlier experience includes being a Teach for America Corp Member from May 2013 to May 2015 and various roles during undergraduate studies at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, including Work Study Office Assistant and Sales Associate at Redwood Florist. Katie earned a Master of Education in Mathematics Teacher Education from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Sociology from Rutgers University.
