TaMicca Carter, MFA has extensive experience in the fashion industry, specializing in technical design and garment development. TaMicca is currently working as an Associate Technical Designer at UpWest, where they independently manage product categories and creates detailed tech packs for factories. TaMicca has also worked as an SAP Apparel Technical Designer at Honeywell Industrial Safety, where they contributed to the preparation of business data for SAP/PLM implementation. Before that, they served as an Associate Technical Designer at Abercrombie & Fitch, where they gained experience in garment construction and fit specifications. TaMicca's earlier career includes roles such as Theatrical Costume Designer at Waubonsie Valley High School, Evening Wear Design Intern at BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP, and Fashion Instructor at the YMCA of San Francisco. TaMicca also worked as a Seamstress at Stitch It and as an Assistant Fashion Designer at Lisa Ray. TaMicca's education began at Bolingbrook High School, where they completed their high school studies in General Studies from 2002 to 2006.
