Rahul Vaish, CAIA

Rahul Vaish, CAIA has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Rahul started their career as an Equity & FX Analyst at Bloomberg LP, where they built relationships with clients and provided tailored solutions using Bloomberg products. Rahul also led implementation projects and achieved high client adoption rates.

Rahul then became the Deputy Team Leader for London Buyside Analytics at Bloomberg, where they further developed their analytical and leadership skills. Rahul later transitioned to the role of Account Manager for the UAE buyside, where they worked closely with C-Suite executives to identify pain points and deliver enhancements within the Bloomberg ecosystem. Rahul was part of a team that generated over $2 million in new revenue.

In 2018, Rahul took on the role of Country Manager for Kuwait and Oman at Bloomberg. In this position, they were responsible for managing and growing the strategic businesses in both countries, particularly in the areas of financial and regulatory change and digitalization. Rahul collaborated with key banks, the central bank, exchanges, and regulators to deliver digital enhancements to the bond market and enhance treasury management. Rahul also worked with sovereign and pension funds to consolidate financial solutions and drive revenue from data solutions.

After their tenure at Bloomberg, Rahul joined Delio as the Client Director for the Middle East. Rahul focused on building and growing the Delio brand and network across the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Rahul established strong relationships with top banks, private equity/venture capital funds, angel networks, and multi-family offices. Rahul also developed and executed country-specific strategies, conducted business development activities, built brand awareness, and navigated regulatory frameworks.

In 2021, Rahul joined Blossom Accelerator as a Mentor & Advisor, providing guidance and support to startups. Rahul also became an Ambassador for Aquanow in 2023.

Most recently, Rahul became the Head of Business Development at uqudo in 2021. Rahul is responsible for growing, managing, and supporting uqudo's Global Business Development team. Rahul'srole also involves supporting international expansion, particularly in the Middle East, Africa, and other strategic markets.

Rahul Vaish, CAIA, completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management from Nottingham University Business School between 2011 and 2014. In 2013, they also attended the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, where they studied Management with a focus on Business/Managerial Economics. Prior to their university education, Rahul attended The Manchester Grammar School from 2004 to 2011. Additionally, Rahul obtained the Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter) from the CAIA Association in November 2020.
