Adrienne Schmoeker

Adrienne Schmoeker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in civic engagement, data innovation, and strategic partnerships. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow at The Governance Lab, Adrienne leads initiatives through the Open Data Policy Lab, including managing the City Incubator Program for global cities. Additionally, Adrienne is involved with Helpful Places to enhance transparency in public technology, provides consulting for the AI Portfolio at the Bezos Earth Fund, and advises Urban AI on technology in urban environments. With previous roles at the City of New York as Director of Civic Engagement and Strategy and Deputy Chief Analytics Officer, Adrienne played a key role in the Open Data Portfolio and analytics efforts. Adrienne's background also includes leadership positions at Catchafire, Sears Holdings Corporation, and various academic and policy-related initiatives, underscored by a BA in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago.
