Lorraine Valembois has extensive experience in urban planning and project management, currently serving as Manager of Diversity and Coordinator for Equal Opportunities at Urban.brussels since November 2016, focusing on equality policies through analysis, audits, and project management. Previous roles include advising the Deputy General Director at the Direction Générale, with responsibilities in strategic plan coordination, urban renovation consultancy at the Commune de Fosses-la-Ville, and urbanist landscape architecture work at AGUA sprl. Additional experience includes serving as a Visiting Scholar at Michigan State University, where Lorraine focused on the rehabilitation of abandoned neighborhoods using circular economy principles. Lorraine holds a Master's degree in Urbanism and Territorial Planning from Université catholique de Louvain and a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech.
