Hervin Rowe

Hervin Rowe has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Hervin has worked as a Director of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement at the Urban Development Corporation since 2018. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty Lecturer at the University College of the Caribbean from 2009 onwards. Hervin also worked as a Procurement/Supply Chain Consultant at a private consultancy firm from 2015 to 2018. In addition, they have experience as a Lecturer/Procurement Consultant at the University of Technology, Jamaica from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Procurement Category Manager at Red Stripe (A Diageo Co.) from 2007 to 2015. Hervin also worked as a Principal Specialist Material Management/Procurement Manager at Fluor Corporation from 2005 to 2007. Hervin'searly career included a role as a Purchasing/Logistics Officer at Nestle Jamaica Ltd. from 1995 to 2003.

Hervin Rowe has a diverse educational background in the field of supply chain management, statistics, economics, and business. Hervin completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics & Statistics from the University of the West Indies - Mona in 2004. In 2007, they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Statistics with Business Statistics from Sheffield Hallam University.

Hervin also pursued several professional certifications in the field of supply management. In 2012, they received a Certificate in Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute of Supply Management. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) from the same institution in 2006.

Furthermore, Hervin completed a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in Global Supply Chain Management from Walden University, which they pursued from 2012 to 2020.
