Emily Helm

Emily Helm is a dedicated professional in conservation and environmental sciences, currently serving as the Land Manager at the Urban Ecology Center since January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Conservation Biologist with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources from July 2021 to December 2022 and as a Natural Areas Technician for the Chicago Park District from June 2017 to June 2021. Additionally, Emily held the position of Assistant Crew Manager with Friends of the Forest Preserves from October 2018 to March 2019. Emily obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation and Environmental Sciences with a focus on Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where studies were completed between 2014 and 2017.
