Megan Booth

Megan Booth has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Megan started their career as a Material Science & Engineering Intern at Urban Electric Power in 2019. Following this, they worked as a Research Assistant at CUNY Energy Institute from January 2020 to May 2020, and then again from August 2020 to February 2022.

Megan's most recent role was at Urban Electric Power, where they held multiple positions. Megan started as a Business Intelligence Engineer in February 2022 and was responsible for bridging the gap between research and development and business development. Megan also conducted customer outreach and marketing research.

Following this, Megan served as an Operations Manager from November 2022 to June 2023. In this role, they managed communication between vendors, manufacturing, and the research and development team for Zn|MnO2 alkaline batteries. Megan implemented inventory software and asset tracking systems and kept the pipeline up to date for near-term projects.

Currently, Megan works as the VP of Operations at Urban Electric Power, starting in May 2023. In this position, they oversee company operations and helps optimize the production line. Megan bridges the gaps between research development, business development, and manufacturing.

Megan Booth obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The City College of New York, completing their education from 2015 to 2020.
