Tim Polaski

Practice Leader for Site Land Development-Western Pennsylvania at Urban Engineers

A Practice Leader, Timothy L. Polaski, PE, LEED AP, leads the firm’s site and land development practice in Western Pennsylvania. Within this role, he collaborates with the other offices on strategic pursuits as well as serves in the role of Project Manager.

Tim has over 23 years of extensive experience and has worked on a variety of projects ranging from universities to transportation, from baseball parks to marinas. His focus includes the incorporation of sustainable design concepts to stormwater management design and review, hydrology and hydraulic studies, stream modeling, erosion control projects, and environmental permitting as well as marina planning and layout, infrastructure design, roadway layout and design, site development, utility rehabilitation, and construction inspection.

Tim not only designs these fantastic facilities, he enjoys them too. Outside of the office, Tim is an avid sailboat racer, windsurfer, soccer coach and family man.

A Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and LEED AP, Tim earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering and pursued his master’s in environmental engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
