Travis Reginal has extensive experience in research and advocacy within the fields of public policy and education. Currently serving as a Research Associate at The Urban Institute since June 2016, Travis has held various research positions, including Research Analyst and Research Assistant. Previous roles include Research Assistant at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and Legal and Policy Intern at the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, where Travis contributed to legal advocacy and policy research. In earlier positions, Travis worked as a Summer Counselor for Upward Bound at Jackson State University, a Youth Leader at Neighborhood House, an Editorial Volunteer at Celentano Museum Academy, and a Student Worker at Yale Law School Early Learning Center. Educationally, Travis is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy and Public Administration at The George Washington University, having previously earned a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Education Studies from The George Washington University and Yale University, respectively.
