Kevin Velez

Kevin Velez, MBA, currently serves as a Mixed-Use Council Member at the Urban Land Institute and as a Project Manager-Senior Underwriter at New York State Homes & Community Renewal. With extensive experience in the real estate and housing sectors, Kevin has previously held positions such as Associate at Property Markets Group, where responsibilities included underwriting multifamily projects and analyzing RFPs across multiple states. As Project Manager at NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, Kevin managed numerous multifamily projects, securing substantial financing to maintain affordable housing. Earlier roles include Portfolio Analyst at New York City Housing Development Corporation and various committees in professional organizations. Kevin holds an MBA in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, both from St. John's University.
