Senior Mechanical Engineer, Robotics at Urban Machine

Aidan B. has a wide range of work experience in the engineering field. Aidan started their career as a Machinery Operator at Porter Farms in 2013 and worked there until 2016. In 2017, they interned as an Engineering Intern at JMP Automation Inc. and gained valuable skills and knowledge. Aidan then interned as a Mechatronics Engineering Intern at Ripcord from January 2018 to May 2018. Aidan continued their journey at Ripcord as a Robotic Hardware Engineer from August 2018 to December 2018. In 2019, Aidan worked at the University of Waterloo Robotics Design Team as a Mechanical Design Engineer from January to June. Aidan also interned as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Plenty from May to September 2019. Aidan joined Plenty again in 2020 as a Robotics Engineering Intern and further advanced in their career within the company to become a Mechanical Design Engineer from May 2021 to April 2023. Currently, Aidan is employed at Urban Machine as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Robotics since April 2023.

Aidan B. began their education in 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic High School, where they completed their secondary education. After graduating from high school in 2015, Aidan went on to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree at the University of Waterloo, specializing in Mechatronics and Robotics. Aidan attended the university from 2016 to 2021, earning their degree in the specified field of study. Apart from their formal education, Aidan also obtained several certifications in lifesaving and first aid, including NLS and NLS - Waterfront from Lifesaving Society Canada, as well as Standard First Aid and CPR-C from Lifesaving Society Ontario.
