James Johnson Piett

James Johnson Piett is the Principal and CEO at Urbane, where James oversees the company's operations and strategic vision. Prior to this role, James worked as a Principal at Writers Bloc Productions, specializing in storytelling for the black diaspora, and as a Project Manager at The Food Trust, leading various initiatives related to fresh food access. James also has experience as a Project Coordinator at Belmont Charter Network, a Community Planning Fellow at the City of Philadelphia, and an Analyst at PFM. James holds a degree from Swarthmore College and has completed a Summer Institute for Professional Development in Commercial Real Estate Development and Finance at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
