Blanca Argueta

Blanca Argueta is an experienced project management professional currently serving as Gerente de Proyecto at Urbanizadora La Laguna since August 2023. Prior to this role, Blanca held the position of Project Manager in the PMO Real Estate department at Walmart from September 2018 to August 2023, overseeing the Real Estate Portfolio for Central America, which included remodels, new stores, and special projects, while leading the Reporting Office to provide key performance indicators for executive decision-making. Blanca also worked as an Architect and Design Manager at Gensler from April 2015 to September 2018, and as an Architect at both Gensler and BîldTEK between 2010 and 2015, focusing on retail projects and design management. Earlier experience includes serving as an Asistente de Arquitecto at Proyectiva in 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Project Management from Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional, and multiple degrees in Architecture from Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica and a diploma in architecture for emergency disasters from Isthmus - Panama.
