Rakesh Mukherjee

Rakesh Mukherjee has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Rakesh is currently the VP of Engineering at UrbanPiper since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at EclecticIQ as the Director of Engineering, Emerging Technologies, responsible for overseeing the development of their new security platform. Rakesh also served as the Engineering Manager for XDR at EclecticIQ, where they led the planning, execution, and delivery of their intelligence-led cybersecurity SaaS platform. Rakesh has worked as a Software Architect and Engineering Lead at Coplug, where they developed a data-processing framework and web application for infrastructure planning. Rakesh also co-founded CloudSpekt in 2020. Earlier in their career, Rakesh held the positions of Software Architect, Engineering Manager, and Site Lead at RiskSense, where they established and managed their Bangalore development center. Rakesh started their career as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems and later worked as a Technical Lead at McAfee.

Rakesh Mukherjee pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from The National Institute of Engineering in Mysore from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in the Emerging Leaders Program from Upshot in October 2022.
