Matt Law has over 20 years of experience in the technology field. Matt began their career in 1999 as a Developer at ICL Fujitsu, where they were the primary developer on key BBC portals. In 2001, they moved to ScanSafe as a Software Architect and Developer, developing the first email processing systems used and sold by ScanSafe. In 2003, they joined Mobile Data Communications Pty Ltd as a Senior Developer, where they developed and maintained a communications gateway for the company mobile platform. Matt then moved to HAS Solutions part of the iSOFT Group in 2004 as a Senior Java Developer, developing web-based solutions for legacy applications. In 2005, they returned to ResMed as a Senior J2EE Developer, where they were responsible for design, implementation and testing of ebusiness projects. Matt then became the EU IT Ebusiness Manager in 2007, overseeing projects, strategy and roadmap for online services in Europe. In 2015, they became the CTO of NorthRow, and in 2020 they moved to Classlist as CTO. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Solutions Architect for UrbanThings.

Matt Law attended Thomas Becket in Northampton, UK from 1991 to 1996. Matt then attended the University of Nottingham from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a BSC (Hons) in Computer Science.
