Shavon Smith

Shavon Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2004, Shavon started working as a Radiologic Technologist at Medical City Healthcare (formerly HCA North Texas), where they performed radiographs and procedures in various hospital areas. Shavon also contributed to team building and customer service innovations. In 2014, Shavon joined Pediatrics After Hours as a Radiologic Technologist, where they provided outstanding patient care and trained staff on radiological procedures and positioning. Shavon also assisted with insurance verification, patient assistance, and administering medications. In 2019, Shavon moved on to Urgent Care for Kids as a Radiologic Technologist and later became the Virtual Experience Team Lead. In their role as the Team Lead, they managed a team of Telemedicine Providers and Virtual Experience specialists, ensuring excellent communication, patient care, and customer service through the telemedicine service. Shavon created the training program for Virtual Experience specialists, conducted continued training and audits, and managed the team's schedules and workflows. Additionally, Shavon gained teaching experience as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Weatherford College from 2008 to 2010.
