Collin D. Urgo

SVP, Operations at Urgo Hotels & Resorts

Collin has been a Principal at Urgo Hotels since 1998. In addition to supporting the general managers at portfolio hotels, Collin is responsible for establishing the sales and marketing and revenue management strategies for all portfolio hotels. Collin also supports the development team with hotel design and feasibility studies as well as preparation of financial projections.

Collin has cultivated a wealth of sales and operations experience across all travel segments. He brings that expertise to bear on building design, amenities and services, directly impacting a hotel’s positioning within its market, brand and industry.

Collin began his career in 1990 on the opening team of the Plainview, NY (Long Island) Residence Inn by Marriott, the brand’s first conversion project, which pioneered the concept in the industry. He has since led multiple hotels to industry-leading performances in revenue, quality assurance and guest satisfaction. Notably, Residence Inn by Marriott recognized Collin with the Jim Conley award, honoring business leaders who exemplify the core values of the brand and the Marriott family.
