Robert Spence

Bob’s primary focus is to execute new systems and standards within each hotel in the Urgo portfolio to ensure that the company’s high quality standards are consistent throughout. He is also supervises Urgo Hotels & Resorts construction projects and major property renovations.

Bob brings to his role more than 25 years of engineering and general construction expertise, and a detailed knowledge of Marriott and Urgo systems and procedures. His corporate responsibilities include training chief engineers on fire protection and life safety systems within the hotels, understanding and managing departmental budgets and inventories, and facilitating internal and external hotel communications.

He previously served as the company’s regional director of engineering.
