Amir Schvartzer has a diverse work experience in the medical devices industry. Amir started their career at Virtual Ports in 2007 as an R&D Engineer and later took on roles as QA/RA Manager and Business Development and Professional Services. In 2011, they joined Gordian Surgical Ltd. as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for coordinating and participating in various activities including R&D, V&V, QA, regulatory affairs, clinical trials, small batch production, transfer to large batch production, design to cost, and marketing. Gordian Surgical developed the TroClose1200 laparoscopic trocar with an integrated closure system. In 2018, Amir joined UroGen Pharma as the Director of Medical Devices.
Amir Schvartzer completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2003 to 2007. Amir then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2011 to 2013.
