Jordan Forness

Jordan Forness is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in propulsion engineering and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Mission Assurance at Ursa Major since June 2017, Jordan has built and led a team of propulsion engineers, providing technical expertise and training on Ursa engines while also managing engine integration and testing. Previous roles at Ursa Major include Staff Program Manager and Senior Propulsion Development Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed managing engine variants and leading engine testing. Before joining Ursa Major, Jordan worked at Space Exploration Technologies as a Propulsion Development Engineer, contributing to the development of the Merlin vacuum engine and leading engine test operations. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California.
